Sara Silva

Sara Silva was born in Bogota, Colombia, and earned her Bachelor's degree in Paris, France. After graduation from the conservatory, she returned to Bogota to become a member of the National Symphony of Colombia. Since her arrival in the United States in 2003, she has performed with symphony orchestras and Latin American music ensembles.

Sara has been a core member at Symphoria since 2011. She lives in Westchester County where she continues with her tenure at Symphoria and performing Latin American music. She enjoys the diversity of cultures that New York State has to offer, and loves practicing sports.
