Melissa Manikas

A strong supporter of local nonprofits and fundraising events for many years, Melissa has served on the boards of the Susquehanna SPCA, Friends of Bassett, and Super Heroes Humane Society, helping these organizations with their initiatives for animals, healthcare, and community support. Since 2010, she has been the Agent/Owner of Melissa Manikas State Farm in Cooperstown, NY.

Melissa's love for classical music has connected her with Fenimore Chamber Orchestra, reflecting her interest in supporting the arts. She also currently serves on the board of the Hyde Hall State Historic Site. Melissa and her husband, Allan Manikas, have been long-time residents of Springfield Center, NY, where they live with their golden retrievers.
